The Bel Aire Maker Carnival will be on Wednesday, Oct. 7th
Please be aware that all participants must follow these guidelines:
1. Each game should have a tri-fold, self-standing board describing the creation. Bel Aire School will provide tri-fold boards to those students who don’t have one. (Please see Mrs. Rhodes in the library.) The display board should include the following:
a. Title of your game
b. Name of the creators
c. Rules for how to play your game
2. We will provide tables and specific room assignments.
3. All materials and display boards should be brought to the Bel Aire MPR by 8:00am on October 7th. EVERYTHING must be clearly bagged and labeled.
4. Display set-up for students will be during school hours on Wednesday, October 7th.
5. Students/parents are asked to return to school at 4:30pm for final check. Maker Carnival begins at 5 and students/parents are asked to clean up project areas from 7-7:30pm.
6. Please help us honor our school guidelines and regulations, which state that we do not allow any guns or weapons on campus (this includes Nerf guns or water guns). Also please remember that no food can be given out. Small prizes are ok, but not necessary.
7. It is recommended that all students work in groups so they can take turns playing other games. There will be 2 shifts: From 5-6pm, first partner(s) run their own game, while second partner(s) play other students’ games. From 6-7pm, partners switch and second partner(s) run their own game, while first partner(s) play other students’ games.
8. All questions should be directed to Mrs. Carin Rhodes at [email protected]
